On Monday, March 27, 2017, Apple released iOS 10.3. The question is, "What is new?" The update officially says that it include Find my Airpods, Apple File System, CarPlay updates, and Security Updates. Some users have experienced a faster iDevice with the update.
Most importantly, the update patches an exploit that could cause an iPhone to repeatedly dial 911. The exploit was exposed when a 18-year-old wrote malicious code to force the phone into calling repeatedly. Many call centers were reportedly overwhelmed with calls. Now, Apple is making each user confirm that they want to dial a linked number.
There have been many rumors circulating regrading the "iPhone 8". The following, while not confirmed, are the most probable of them.
The next iPhone is rumored to have a radical redesign. The device is said to include an edge-to-edge display, with the Touch-ID sensor and front-facing camera built in. It would also feature an OLED dimply and a re-adopted glass body, last used in the iPhone 4.
It is expected to have a 10-nanometer A11 chip with wireless charging. Also, some rumors suggest that the new iPhone would have additional biometrics like: iris, facial, or gesture scanners.
While no one knows exactly what the next iPhone will bring we can at least speculate on what it may include. The form-mentioned rumors are not set in stone; they may not be true. Remember, they are only rumors.
