This update only includes minor bugs fixes. The firmware was released last week and was available for immediate download via OTA or the traditional iTunes update. However, jailbreakers should avoid iOS 9.0.1.
iOS 9.0.1 fixes:
• Fixes an issues where some users could not complete setup assistant after updating
• Fixes an issue where sometimes alarms and timers could fail to play
• Fixes an issue in Safari and Photos where pausing could cause the paused frame to appear distorted
• Fixes an issue where some users with a custom APN setup via a profile would lose cellular data
Remember just because Apple said it is a rootless firmware, doesn't mean it is. As people have found out iOS 9 is not rootless for it is almost impossible to make a rootless firmware.
