With the world transitioning to wireless charging for smartphones and watches, could we see an iPad make the transition? We believe that it may happen sooner then later. Apple already has the know how, and the iPad Pro ships with a 12-watt power adapter, meaning that a 10-watt wireless charger could do the job.

Since the iPad Pro has made the transition to USB-C it means that if you have an iPhone as well, you have two different cables at home. While, if the iPad Pro transition to wireless charging, you could possibly either use your existing wireless charger, or new ones could be made to account for the bigger size of the iPad and provide enough room for both devices.
