The Apple press event started promptly at 1:00 EDT with a video about Apple Park. Afterwards, Tim Cook walked on the stage and talked about Steve Jobs. Cook also extends prayers for victims of Hurricane Harvey and Irma and says that people may donate through iTunes. Then, he talks. about Apple Park and mentions redesigns of Apple Stores.
1. Apple Watch

Tim Cook starts out by announcing that the Apple Watch is the #1 watch in the world. Then a short film was shown and Jim came up to the stage to talk about the Apple Watch. Jim talks about the Heart-rate app, saying that it include new measurements like recovery heart rate and notifications about abnormal or elevated heart-rate. Apple is announcing their Heart Study and it would be accessed from a separate app. Jim goes on to say that watchOS 4 will be available September 19.
After all this, the Apple Watch Series 3 is unveiled. It has cellular builtin and will have the same number as your iPhone. The Watch will have a dual-core processor that is 70% faster, W2 chip for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The display is the antenna and this is a red Digital Crown. There are new bands and a new color, being grey ceramic. The Series 3 will be $399 with cellular and $329 without. It will be available September 21.

Jim Cook comes back on stage and calls Eddy up to talk about the Apple TV 4K. It is stated that the new Apple TV includes support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision. It has an A10X Fusion Processor dual-core processor and a quad-core GPU. A demo was done at to close previewing a game for the Apple TV.

Phil points out that the iPhone 8 will come in silver, space gray, and a new gold finish. It will have 7 layer glass on the back and will be water and dust sealed. The new phone will have stereo speakers. It will have an A11 Bionic Chip that has 25% greater performance in the 2-cores and 70% greater in the 4 high efficiency cores. It will also have an Apple designed GPU that is 30% faster.
The Camera is a 12MP iSight Camera. It will have optical image stabilization and the cameras are individually calibrated in the factory. New features include portrait lighting, 240 fps for slow motion, and support for AR. The new phone will support Qi wireless charging. It will also have Bluetooth 5.0 and LTE advanced. The iPhone will come in 64GB or 256GB and start at $699 for the 8 and $799 for the 8 Plus. iOS 11 will be available September 19th and the iPhone 8 will be available on September 22nd.

The phone will have surgical grade stainless steel, Super Retina 5.8" display, water and dust resistant, and come in space gray and silver. It will have a 488ppi OLED display that has 3D Touch builtin. Because there is no home button, you swipe up to go home and swipe up and pause to go the multitasking. To access the control center, you swipe down from one of the status bar notches. Instead of Touch ID, it will have Face ID which uses infrared to map your face.
Using the same infrared camera, Apple has created animojis. These are emojis that dynamic respond and mimic your face. You can control and change the expressions dynamically. The vertical camera has optical image stabilization in both cameras. The iPhone X will be available in 64GB and 256GB options and starts at $999.
To conclude the event, it was stated that Steve Jobs' stated a quote from Wayne Gretzky saying, "I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been." Tim Cooks says that Steve Jobs would be really proud of where Apple is today.
