About a week ago Apple release the patching frimware iOS 8.4.1. The firmware patched several vulnerabilities from older jailbreaks that have been unattended until then. However today Pangu has achieved a new untethered jailbreak on the said firmware. This may sound like good news for jailbreakers, but that may not be true.
When Pangu presented the jailbreak they said it was only a presentation, nothing more. They mentioned that are not planning on releasing a jailbreak utility before iOS 9's initial release to the public, which is just what TaiG said before they release a utility for iOS 8.4. It is very plausible that Pangu has enough vulnerabilities to make a jailbreak utility but we do not know at this put in time.
