The iPhone is expected to feature a 10-nanmeter A11 chip. The device may include wireless charging and facial recognition. The front-facing camera will include 3D sensing technology in order to allow for advanced facial recognition features.
Alongside the faster processor, the iPhone is expected to include NAND flash memory. Information from Weibo has suggested that there will be 64, 256, and 512GB options for storage capacity. With this increase of storage there would also be an need for more RAM, as such it is expected to have 3GB RAM.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 8 (maybe iPhone X or iPhone Decade Edition) alongside the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus at their September Press Event on September 12. The phone is said to cost as much as $1,000 and available in a limited number of colors.
