Apple's upcoming rumored 16-inch MacBook Pro will likely be powered by Intel's 9th generation processors. If accurate, this means that the 16-inch device will be configurable up to an 8-core Core i9 processor. This means that the new MacBook Pro will not use Intel's 10th generation Ice Lake processors.

The MacBook Pro will likely not use 10th generation Intel processors due to there being not 6-core or 8-core options currently. This could also mean that this may be the first MacBook to either include an in-house ARM CPU or even an AMD CPU however unlikely.
Rumors have suggested that the device will use a scissor mechanism keyboard. It will have a 3,072 x 1920 resolution on a 16-inch display along will narrower bezels. The laptop may also kept the same thickness of the current 15-inch MacBook Pro or even get thinner.
